Before you call
You need to gather your financial information before you call.
Monthly debt payments, such as credit cards, cars, etc.
Your mortgage statements, firsts, seconds and thirds if applicable.
Your pay-stubs and tax returns.
Explain your current situation: You need to be able to explain in detail what your hardship is and why it’s becoming difficult to make your payment. You need to be able to confirm that you are willing to leave your home to avoid going through a foreclosure.
